Kristie Poole grew up in Calgary, Alberta and moved to British Columbia to attend university. She graduated from the University of Victoria with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2006 and worked at a variety of jobs getting some life experience.

In 2008, Kristie decided to go back to school and take the Applied Business Technology Program at Vancouver Island University. She then worked as an Administrative Assistant for the City of Nanaimo before deciding to move
to the Lower Mainland.

Kristie—having always had an interest in arts, culture, literature and event planning—chose to pursue new opportunities in Vancouver’s vibrant arts scene.

Moving to Vancouver in February 2011, Kristie applied for an internship with Rebus Creative to assist with the BC Book Prizes On Tour program. When the BC Book Prizes wrapped up in mid-May, we couldn’t bear to see her leave the team and she became our new Project Coordinator.

Kristie is learning the ropes and is eager to pitch in wherever needed: you can find her communicating with clients, coordinating with partners, drafting letters and proposals, and providing general administrative assistance.

When not at the office, you can find Kristie participating in her book club, singing in her choir and baking delicious goodies.
